Delivery times

We ship within 24 hours.
Delivery within Germany takes 1 - 2 business days.
Orders from Austria take up to 3- 4 business days.
Deliveries to other EU countries take up to 5 business days.
Deliveries to Switzerland take up to 4 - 5 business days.

You can cancel your order within 14 days in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. Customers residing in Switzerland have no right of cancellation.

Undeliverable shipments

If the goods are returned to Makani GmbH due to missing/incorrect address details provided by the customer or because the parcel was not collected, the buyer must pay a handling fee. This amounts to €10 for Germany, €15 for Austria, and €20 for Switzerland. The same applies to shipments whose acceptance was refused.

Customs duties, taxes & import charges

Deliveries to countries outside the EU may incur additional customs duties, taxes, and fees. These costs are to be borne by the customer and are not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated during the ordering process. We cover these costs for deliveries to Switzerland.

Payment methods

The payment methods available to you are shown during the ordering process; the options may vary depending on the delivery country. We currently offer:

  • PayPal
  • Credit card
  • Klarna (e.g. purchase on account, installment purchase, direct debit - depending on availability during the ordering process)
  • TWINT (Switzerland)
  • MAKANI gift vouchers

The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract. For PayPal, credit card, and TWINT payments, the amount is charged as part of the order. For payments via Klarna, Klarna's terms and due dates displayed during the ordering process apply.

All prices are final prices including statutory VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately during the ordering process. For cross-border deliveries, additional taxes or charges (e.g. customs duties) may apply in individual cases, which you must pay not to us but to the relevant customs or tax authorities.

Late payment

If you are in default of payment, we are entitled to charge late-payment interest at a rate of five percentage points above the applicable base interest rate (§ 288 para. 1 BGB). The assertion of further damages caused by default in accordance with statutory provisions remains unaffected.

Right of retention

You may exercise a right of retention only insofar as your counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
