Shipping costs

Germany: Free shipping
Austria: €9.90 | Free shipping on orders of €49.90 or more
Switzerland: €14.90
EU: €14.90

Delivery times

We ship within 24 hours.
Delivery within Germany takes 1–2 business days.
Orders from Austria take up to 3–4 business days.
Deliveries to other EU countries take up to 5 business days.
Deliveries to Switzerland take up to 4–5 business days.

You may cancel your order within 14 days in accordance with our cancellation policy. Customers residing in Switzerland do not have a right of cancellation.

Undeliverable shipments

If the goods are returned to Makani GmbH due to missing or incorrect address information provided by the customer or because the package was not picked up, the buyer will be responsible for a flat-rate fee. This fee is €10 for Germany, €15 for Austria, and €20 for Switzerland. The same applies to shipments that were refused.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional customs duties,taxes, and fees may apply. These are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price, unless otherwise specified during the ordering process. For deliveries to Switzerland, we cover these costs.

Payment Methods

You can see which payment methods are available to you during the ordering process; the options may vary depending on the delivery country. We currently offer:

• Credit card
• Klarna (e.g., purchase on account, installment plan, direct debit—depending on availability during the checkout process)
• TWINT (Switzerland)
• MAKANI-Gift Certificates

The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract. For PayPal, credit card, and TWINT, the amount will be charged when the order is placed. For payments via Klarna, Klarna’s terms and payment due dates, as displayed during the ordering process, apply.

All prices are final and include the applicable sales tax. Shipping costs are listed separately during the ordering process. For cross-border deliveries, additional taxes or duties (e.g., customs duties) may apply in individual cases; you are responsible for paying these directly to the relevant customs or tax authorities, not to us.

Late Payment

If you are late in making a payment, we are entitled to charge late payment interest at a rate of five percentage points above the applicable base interest rate (Section 288(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB)). The right to claim further damages resulting from the delay in accordance with statutory provisions remains unaffected.

Right of Retention

You may exercise a right of retention only to the extent that your counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
